S/Y St. Olga
St. Olga is named in honour of a strong maritime and cultural tradition, symbolising endurance, seamanship, and the spirit of exploration that defines true ocean-going expeditions. Her name reflects a philosophy of respect for the sea, long-distance voyaging, and the timeless values of seamanship that connect generations of sailors across oceans.
St. Olga is a purpose-built expedition sailing yacht, designed for extended ocean passages and demanding offshore conditions. Built in 2003 to the renowned Bruce Roberts Bermuda 555 design, she embodies robustness, seaworthiness, and reliability — qualities essential for serious expedition sailing. Constructed with long-range autonomy in mind, the yacht was conceived not for marinas, but for open oceans.
Following a comprehensive series of upgrades and refits after 2011, St. Olga was transformed into a capable and comfortable expedition platform. Her systems, navigation equipment, safety features, and interior were carefully modernised to meet the requirements of long-distance voyages, while preserving the character and integrity of a true blue-water sailing yacht.
Today, St. Olga serves as an expedition vessel for ocean crossings, remote destinations, and immersive sailing experiences. She is not merely a yacht, but a living expedition platform — carrying forward the tradition of exploration, seamanship, and respect for the world’s oceans.
